Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba provides a number of services such as check-in, light control and room service at the world’s first AI hotel. The FlyZoo Hotel in Hangzhou, China, accepts its visitors only after being subjected to a face scanning process. With the face scanning system, the customers can easily access hotel services, and the room lights, televisions and curtains can be controlled with a voice-activated digital assistant. The autonomous robots at the hotel are also able to serve food, cocktails or coffees.
