In Türkiye, which has made a rapid entry into the electric vehicle market, the interest in electric cars is expected to increase every year. Solar Energy Industrialists and Industry Association President Halil Demirdag, who underlined that it is estimated that more than 1 million electric vehicles will be on roads in Türkiye by 2030, said “When we take this number into consideration, we can say that 100K megawatts of battery capacity will be created in 2030. Now the next step should be to be able to use the batteries of these vehicles to supply electricity back into the system. If such an opportunity is created for batteries in vehicles, a new capacity will also be created”.
