We are restructuring all our operations, from energy management to logistics processes, within the framework of environmental sustainability to eliminate our carbon footprint.

Achieve 50% Energy Savings

We aim to reduce our energy consumption through efficiency enhancing projects and strive to produce more with fewer resources.

Renewable Energy Production

With our 30 MW capacity solar power plant, we generate our own renewable energy, covering a significant portion of our energy needs through eco-friendly methods.

Transparent Reporting

In accordance with the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1 standards, we regularly measure and report our carbon emissions. In line with our commitment to transparency, we share this data with the public to demonstrate our responsibility in reducing our environmental impact.

Collaborations and Process Management

To achieve our sustainability goals, we place great importance on teamwork and strategic partnerships. In this regard, we have established a Sustainability Team within the company. Our team proactively develops and implements approaches to minimize our environmental impacts. Additionally, we are collaborating with Doğuş University to assess our carbon emissions and analyze our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risks. These processes are designed to align with the European Green Deal and Turkey’s Sustainability Reporting Standards (TSRS).

To achieve our sustainability goals, we place great importance on teamwork and strategic partnerships.
In this regard, we have established a Sustainability Team within the company.

These efforts, reported quarterly, form a solid foundation for us to reach our future objectives.

Training and Awareness Programs

To increase environmental sustainability awareness and encourage our employees to take a more active role in these processes, we will organize in-house sustainability training sessions. Through these training programs, we aim to enhance our employees’ knowledge about the European Green Deal and the steps needed on the path to carbon neutrality.

A chip manufacturer specializing in encryption, deep learning, and particularly a key player in quantum computing, SEAL-SQ has been notable for its investments in encryption technologies for over 25 years. SEAL-SQ, expected to be a major player in Turkey’s growing deep learning market, also aims to offer advanced technological solutions for critical sectors such as defense industry. During the Electronica fair held in November 2024 in Munich, Germany, strategic partnership talks between Özdisan and SEAL-SQ officials concluded with the decision to establish a collaboration for the Turkish market. Organized annually by Özdisan Elektronik with the aim of supporting the inventors of the future, the Invention Challenge was once again a great success this year. The 20th edition of the Istanbul Invention Challenge took place with great enthusiasm on December 7, 2024 at the
Doğuş University Dudullu Campus. Young engineering candidates and technology enthusiasts showcased their creativity and skills. This year’s competition theme was the “Peanut Candy Throwing Contest.” Participants aimed to score the highest points by hitting a target 5 meters away with 50 peanut candies within 1 minute. To achieve this, they designed mechanical devices and meticulously developed their equipment.

40 Teams Participated, Creativity Took the Spotlight

This year’s event saw a total of 40 teams participating, including 35 school teams and 5 hobbyists. The students and hobbyists competed with devices they had developed entirely based on their own ideas. Throughout the competition, participants’ engineering skills and creativity were on full display. Some of the setups, particularly in terms of design and launch mechanisms, offered innovative solutions

A Festive Atmosphere, Moments of Excitement

The event kicked off with great enthusiasm at the Doğuş University Dudullu Campus. The excitement of the teams combined with the
cheers of the audience, creating an even more magical atmosphere. Participants skillfully used their devices to gather as many points as possible within the 60-second time limit. Judges carefully evaluated the performance of the devices, ensuring that the peanut candies hit the target and maintained their integrity.
