It usually consists of a TFT display with touch detection, NFC card readers for authentication or payments, and a Bluetooth interface for even more advanced features.
Oscillators for IEEE 1588 Protocol Applications

In general, the basic oscillator parameters for IEEE 1588 applications are:
- Standard frequency stability (Frequency, Temperature, Aging etc.)
- Phase noise and vibration (Jitter)
- Short and medium term stability (ADEV or MTIE/TDEV).
In IEEE 1588 applications with fewer synchronization requirements, standard Ethernet type XO with ±20ppm frequency stability is usually sufficient. However, IEEE 1588 applications with higher synchronization requirements, such as telecommunications, audio and video networks, need oscillators that meet certain short and medium term stability requirements.

The requirements for wired telecommunication network applications are defined by the following industry synchronization standards:
- Telcordia GR-1244, GR-253
- ITU-T G.812/G.813
- ITU-T G.8261/G.826
The requirements for wireless telecommunications applications are defined by the system requirements:
- LTE: Frequency accuracy is 50ppb, time accuracy is 3-10µs
- WiMAX: Frequency accuracy is 50ppb, time accuracy is 5-25µs
Audio and video applications must comply with IEEE 802.1AS-2011 standard.

Public Service Measuring Devices

Smart meters are equipped with monitors that allow you to better understand your energy use. Smart meters consist of three main circuit blocks that can be integrated into a SoC (System on Chip) or embedded into the device as separate modules. The objectives of these modules are:
- Measurement
- Contact
- User interaction
Raltron offers a wide range of frequency management components and antenna solutions for meter measurement applications that meet the requirements of ultra-low power consumption, small size and low cost. The product portfolio includes components such as crystals, TCXOs, OCXOs, VCOs, SAW and LTCC filters, real-time clocks, antennas, RF connectors and cable assemblies, and these products are designed to meet the requirements of the rapidly growing market.
Ultra-Low Vibration (Jitter) Oscillators

Fiber optic cables are one of the most important transmission lines used to transmit information in telecommunication networks. Information is transmitted by modulating the amplitude and phase of light using a technique called “coherent optical transmission”. Optical transceivers are used at both ends of the cable, allowing optical signals to be transmitted bidirectionally over the same fiber-optic cable. Optical transceivers make it possible for both a transmitter and a receiver to work together, creating a bidirectional (full duplex) connection.
The Digital Signal Processors (DSP) used in optical transceivers at both ends of the fiber optic connection offer increased transmission speeds of up to 800G, simpler circuit designs and improved optical performance. Digital Signal Handlers need clock oscillators, VCXOs and VCSOS with high frequency and ultra-low jitter as the reference frequency.
Raltron offers a complete range of oscillators that can be used as a compatible or reference design for the most leading optical DSPs used in optical transceivers.
Applications
- Ethernet-specific adjustable 100G, 200G, 300G or 400G lines that provide range/capacity optimization on different fiber connections
- Data center connections
- Subway connections
- Long distance connections that support ranges beyond 120 km
- Optical transceivers
- Optical motors
- Active optical cables
- Optical measuring devices
- RF transmission over fiber
Security Alarm

Security alarms are used in residential, commercial, industrial and military applications to provide protection against situations such as theft or property damage, as well as to increase personal security against unauthorized entry.
The recovery in the housing sector and the people’s increasing awareness about the importance of home security are also increasing the sale of efficient and cost-effective security systems. New technologies that enable remote monitoring of buildings are becoming a standard feature of ’smart home’ solutions.
Raltron offers SAW devices, Ceramic Resonators, LTCC RF Ceramic Products and Antennas for different security alarm applications. These products, with their characteristics such as low profile, small size and strong suppression of unwanted signals, are specially selected for challenging demands required by security alarm applications on frequency components.
Server and Storage

Storage applications include various fields such as enterprise storage servers, network and disk driver interfaces, and consumer-oriented storage products. Server and storage applications need clock resources with very low jitter.
