Lem EM4T II: Developed the second generation of universal energy meters with billing authority for electric generation units: EM4T II.
In its basic single-phase version, the EM4T II
energy meter can be used on all existing railway networks (from 600V to 3000V DC, 15KV / 16.7Hz and 25kV/50Hz AC). It is a multi-network energy meter that can measure both AC and DC currents, and therefore can be used for cross-border traffic.
The EM4T II complies with the requirements of EN 50463-x and EN 50155 standards for measurement and in-vehicle use. The input variables (current and voltage) are connected to EM4T II measurement circuits via a differential input designed for connecting all current and voltage transducers / transformers currently available on the market.

The energy values are collected and stored in load profiles. The measured data records include events such as date, time, network change, train numbers, frequency, etc. EM4T II is available in 0.5% sensitivity class.
