Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.com and Blue Origin, is turning his space dream into a reality. The “New Shepard” sub-orbital shuttle manufactured by the company he owns has successfully completed an unmanned test flight. During the flight, which took place at the company’s headquarters in the state of Texas, the shuttle consisting of a rocket and a capsule was launched into space. The 6-person capsule, called the “Reusable Spaceship” (RSS), passed the Karman Line, which is thought to separate space from the atmosphere and is located 100 kilometers above the Earth, and successfully landed on the ground with a parachute. The reusable rocket has also returned to earth after launch.
