Danfoss – Advanced Sensor Technology
Danfoss has acquired Kavlico thin film technology from Sensata Group, one of the world’s largest players in the sensor market. This technology allows to develop sensors suitable for high application temperature and pressure. With this acquisition, Danfoss aims to meet the increasing customer demand for pressure sensors used in the heavy-duty industry. Kavlico, which has more than 50 years of experience in the design of innovative pressure, position, force sensors and other special sensors used in harsh environments and critical applications, will continue its activities within the Danfoss Industrial Automation unit affiliated to the Danfoss Cooling Department.
