BOARDOZA B-VL6180-BRK is a compact sensor board based on STMicroelectronics’ VL6180 sensor, designed for single-point (single-zone) Time-of-Flight (ToF) distance measurement applications. The sensor operates on the Time-of-Flight (ToF) principle and provides absolute distance measurements largely independent of the target’s color, surface texture, or reflectivity. Unlike classic IR proximity sensors, it measures based on the light’s travel time rather than only signal intensity. This ensures more stable and repeatable results.
