PROJECT DESIGN MANAGER
A project can be defined as a “chain of organized activities” to achieve predetermined expected results. Project management is the function of planning, managing and controlling resources such as people, tools and materials in order for the project to be completed in the most effective way, taking also into account the limited time, costs and technical aspects. A project manager is basically responsible for finding the correct resources, assigning people, organizing the relevant departments, and controlling these processes. While fulfilling these responsibilities, they must also manage the time perfectly. Managing the deadlines and schedules correctly would accelerate the company’s financial cycle and reveal its strength. When a project is not completed on time, the project manager cannot associate this with the current conditions, since their role is to use the time in the most effective way.
What are the benefits of project management?

It ensures the effective use of people, tools, materials, money and information. It makes customer satisfaction possible by creating performance at appropriate costs, on time and at the desired level. It helps to achieve the company’s goals on time, and to protect the enterprise against changing social, economic, political and technical restrictions. It brings new products to the company with new distributorship agreements.
It brings in production skills.

When is project management needed?

● When the job in hand is large and complex (when a large quantity of PCBAs is ordered)
● When the work requires the coordination of multiple activities (PCB, board placing, electronic component supply)

A successfully managed project is a project that is delivered on time requested by the customer (or even earlier), fulfills the promised functions, and is realized in accordance with the price agreed upon.
In order to maintain an accurate and reliable project, it is necessary to follow the standard processes defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI) well.
Initial processes
The saying ”Starting is half of achieving” can be given as a good example at this point. Contacting a new company, finding a new company and staying on the same “frequency” with the company after that is essential. Integrating the character of the company to that of the customer is a difficult and time-consuming process.
Planning processes
The requested products must be supplied on time so that they can be delivered to the customer on the agreed dates. If the planning is not made correctly, the possible loss of time would also lead to loss of reputation and tangible assets of the company, which is something that no company would accept. It is necessary to identify and manage the risks to ensure that the project is delivered on time.

Application Processes
Deadlines should be clearly set in order to make a correct work plan and supply the necessary products on time. In order for the products to be ready on the specified date, the time from placing the order to its entering the customer’s warehouse must be managed correctly. In this process, the products must pass through correct prices and correct distributors.
Closure Processes
Unexpected factors that occur in the final process of the product and the possible price changes as a result of this, as well as the elements that may affect the timing, should be determined and reported.
