
The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources has started a new project to eliminate the shortage of qualified staff in the energy field. Within the scope of the ”National Energy Education Move”, it’s been decided to open 10 Natural Resource and Renewable Energy High Schools in 9 cities, under a protocol signed with the Ministry of National Education. Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Berat Albayrak emphasized the importance of qualified workforce in the energy sector and said, “Vocational high schools are not regular schools, but the sources of development of our country. We aim to increase our competence in technology production in energy field, by bringing scientific and technological knowledge to the practical field. Our national energy and mineral policy has been prepared in accordance with Türkiye’s future goals. In order to realize these goals, we have to create a qualified, trained and competent workforce”.
