W25 Series is one of the most used product groups of
Winbond, one of the greatest flash producers of the world SPI flash products can be used in MCU and Linux-based systems. They are used to increase the capacity of MCU, which is used in the applications requiring good memory in MCU-based systems.
In Linux-based systems, the processor does not have its
own memory unity, rather eMMC or SPI flash solutions are used. In Linux systems with low configuration, SPI flash is generally preferred.
