The nPM1300 charges single-cell Li-ion, Li-poly and LiFePO4 batteries with a linear charging module that supports charging current of up to 800 mA and a programmable termination voltage of 3.5 to 4.45 V. The battery charger has automatic thermal regulation with programmable maximum chip temperature during charging. In other words, after the chip starts to overheat, the charger takes some measures to prevent overheating. This allows the user to set a specific temperature value for the chip with a programmable maximum chip temperature, and perfectly adjust the \u201cthin line\u201d between charging speed and safety.
