The developing trade relations between the countries have also enabled the logistics sector to improve and grow. Yusuf Karabacak, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of ASAV, which was established in 1994 to meet the needs in the logistics sector, gave information about the sector and talked about the cooperation between them and Ozdisan Elektronik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-acf4cc475aa290df0007ec7388b52d3a\"><strong><strong>Could you briefly tell us about your company?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We founded ASAV together with Melek Karabacak in Istanbul in 1994. Today, ASAV, which can provide international transportation services in more than 95 countries, is one of the leading brands of Turkish logistics sector with more than 200 employees, strong vehicle fleet, and warehouse investments. ASAV, which made its first overseas investment in the Netherlands in 2013, today holds the market leader position in the land transportation services between the Netherlands and T\u00fcrkiye. We provide air and sea import\/export transportation, warehousing, customs clearance and domestic distribution services at the main airports and ports of the Netherlands such as Amsterdam and Rotterdam. We are continuing our services with our own personnel and facilities in the city of Hoofddorp, located 8 kilometers from Schiphol airport, on a 5,000-square-meter field and 2,000-square-meter office area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-840e4d55611eef1fb52d30289c23c32c\"><strong><strong>Can you give information about your new investments and future plans?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By continuing warehouse investments in T\u00fcrkiye, we plan to complete our new logistics facility project, which includes the head office, customs warehouses and free warehouses built on 40,000 square meters of land in Hadimk\u00f6y, Istanbul, by the end of the year. We were entitled to receive the ISO 27001 Information Security certification in 2016. We plan to offer significant profit and time advantages for our customers by developing a world-class product, especially in air transportation, by implementing Authorized Contractor Status and Safe Shipper practices. We are planning to expand to the Far East, one of the world\u2019s largest markets, in 2018-2019. With our new office, we plan to operate in the markets with our own price scheme and block-location agreements that we made in the past 10 years, particularly in Hong Kong and then Shanghai and Guangzhou. Currently, we manage fixed annual ground agreements from T\u00fcrkiye with almost all of the main carriers from China. By breaking the usual standards, we aim to ensure that the Turkish industrialists can operate without being affected by daily price and capacity fluctuations, and move forward with a planned transportation budget throughout the year. With these new investments, our company will have combined all its volume in the region under its own brand. From here, we aim to ensure that a Turkish brand takes place in the forwarding sector by providing services not only to T\u00fcrkiye, but also to the entire Europe and the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e6f52f76429ad113e2d2e5ed3564e2ef\"><strong><strong>What would you like to say about your cooperation with Ozdisan Elektronik?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The biggest \u201csource\u201d that our company owes its success, which invests its earnings from the transportation sector in the sector again and maintains its stable growth momentum with its investments, is our customer portfolio. As a Turkish company, our biggest customers include the leading industrialists of T\u00fcrkiye such as Koc Group, Zorlu, SANKO Holding etc. One of the valuable companies we serve is Ozdisan Elektronik. ASAV &#8211; Ozdisan cooperation has been continuing for many years, especially in the import field from the Far Eastern by air. We support Ozdisan Elektronik, which imports from almost all the Far Eastern region, to ensure that it can carry out transportation within the scope of airline agreements or block ground agreements. Even in the months when there are serious restrictions in terms of capacity and space, we are able to provide the best conditions for Ozdisan in terms of transit time thanks to long-term agreements and mutual commitments. Our long-term cooperation allows us to get to know the expectations of Ozdisan\u2019s different departments, their ways of working and to work almost as if we are an integral unit of Ozdisan.
