It works on binary numerical system, and all the digital data is expressed by combinations of these two values.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The computer&#8217;s ability to perform operations is based on the fact that it performs logical operations by processing information with sequential or parallel combinations of bits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Qubit:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is the basic unit of information used in quantum computers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A qubit can be both 0 and 1 concurrently, which is called <strong>superposition<\/strong>. This means that the qubit can express multiple states at the same time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It also has <strong>entanglement <\/strong>feature. This allows them to perform calculations faster and more efficiently than conventional computers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><u>Differences of Quantum Computers from Conventional Computers:<\/u><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Method of Representing Data:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conventional computers run with 0s and 1s using the binary system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quantum computers can represent both 0 and 1 concurrently through qubits, which allows them to carry more information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Calculation Speed:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quantum computers can perform multiple calculations at the same time. With superposition and entanglement features, many solutions can be evaluated in parallel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conventional computers can evaluate only one solution at a time and perform operations \u201csequentially\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Problem Solving Capacity:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quantum computers demonstrate superior performance, particularly in areas such as large data sets, optimization problems, molecular modeling, and cryptography.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conventional computers may run slower when faced with complex problems that quantum computers can easily solve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Principle of Operation:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conventional computers work deterministically, i.e. a given input always gives the same output.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quantum computers are \u201cprobability-based\u201d and in some cases they evaluate the most likely solutions, rather than the certainty of a particular solution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quantum computers, using the laws of quantum mechanics, are able to perform calculations that go beyond the capacity of conventional computers.
