The Turkish leg of the prestigious JPL Invention Competition, organized by NASA\u2019s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), was successfully held on December 9 with the concept of \u201cPaper to the Basket\u201d at the Dudullu Campus of Dogus University with \u00d6zdisan Electronic\u2019s support. \u00d6zdisan Electronic, a leading company in Turkish electronics industry with more than 40 years of experience, have brought young brains together with science and technology in the field of technology and innovation. In the competition with the concept of \u201cPaper to the Basket\u201d, the brave and innovative young brains from 50 schools in T\u00fcrkiye came to the forefront as teams and science hobbyists. The participants pushed the boundaries of engineering and design by developing intelligent and creative solutions to real-world problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the competition, plaques and awards were granted to the teams that came in with the most creative, the most unusual, the most artistic, the smallest and the lightest designs. Mustafa Yurtta\u015f, the General Manager of \u00d6zdisan Electronic, emphasized the importance of this competition to strengthen the passion of young people for science and technology, and spoke about \u00d6zdisan\u2019s contributions to training and development of young generations. \u201cThe Turkish finals of the NASA JPL Annual Invention Competition are part of our mission to teach students to think creatively and develop practical solutions to real-life engineering problems. The \u2018Paper to Basket\u2019 concept offered young people the opportunity to develop analytical thinking, design and engineering skills,\u201d Yurtta\u015f said. This competition stood out as a platform that not only improves the creative problem solving skills of young individuals but also contributes to the technological transformation in T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
