We Keep Developing Our Digital Marketing Strategies

In an age when the technology develops rapidly, the digitalization of the brands has become indispensable. The digital transformation has changed the traditional business manners and enabled the companies to use the technology efficiently and gain competitive advantages. In this issue, we came together with Kağan Yurttaş who works in Corporate Communication Department of Özdisan Elektronik Inc. Being born in İstanbul and trained in United States of America, Yurttaş has acquired many job experiences beginning with the internship and in the end, he has come back as corporate communication assistant specialist to Özdisan Elektronik. We discussed digitalization process in this pleasant interview with Kağan Yurttaş.

I was born on June 17, 1998 in Şişli (İstanbul). I completed my primary school education in Private Üsküdar SEV Primary School in 2012, and my secondary school education in Saint Benoit French High-School in 2017. Afterwards, I went to United States of America for my college education. I got my bachelor degree from Economics in Social Sciences Faculty of Loyola Marymount University in 2021. And I got my master degree from Cinema Studies in Social Sciences Faculty of Savannah College of Art and Design in 2023. I stepped into business life in June-July 2017 with my R&D Internship in Özdisan Elektronik AŞ. And then, I kept working as a teaching assistant of a professor working in Communication Studies of Communication Faculty in Loyola Marymount University in July 2020 and August 2021 and afterwards as an intern research assistant of a professor studying in Economic Department of Social Sciences Faculty in between January 2021 and May 2021. Following this, I worked as a front office assistant in two sports centre named SCADFit and ClubSCAD from October 2021 to March 2022 and as the Front Office Chief in the same centers. Having said that, I fulfilled the position of intern teaching assistant of a professor working in Cinema Studies of Social Sciences Faculty in Savannah College of Art and Design in between September 2022 and November 2022. And in December 2021, I had the experience of working as an intern receptionist in Ecole St. Pierre Hotel in Galata (İstanbul). As of 2023, I have been working as a Corporate Communication Assistant Specialist in Özdisan Elektronik AŞ., the place I started working in.

As Corporate Communication Department, we are working on the possible and future improvements about especially our website ozdisan.com and our magazine Component by Özdisan. We try to decide for a roadmap considering how these planned improvements will contribute to us while we introduce ourselves to our customers. In the meantime, we concentrate on how our departments express themselves in accordance with our language and culture while communicating with our solution partners. Even if these are our main foci, we also work on efficient communication in our planned collaborations with the universities and students.

Marketing has never been this much important for the commercial activities before 21st century. Increasing your capabilities in digital media as much as possible to express yourself better has become a must rather than necessity. That’s why we keep working hard by developing ozdisan.com and other digital communication channels. We care about renewing ourselves constantly to serve our customers better and meet their expectations. With an approach based on the satisfaction of our customers, we strive to improve our digital marketing strategies and offer innovative solutions without letup. We believe that not only ozdisan.com and our social media accounts, but also Component By Özdisan will contribute to explain our activities in the field of digital marketing.

Additionally, our magazine has a special importance as it provides informative content to our readers and companies active in the electric-electronic sector on different subjects. Thus, we want to improve the website of our magazine better and then to turn into a platform where updated content will be shared.

Before preparing our content, we carefully examine the technological developments and projects in different sectors. After completing the research process, we determine the topics and products, which should be included in our magazine from our view. Afterwards, we go through an intensive work process to prepare our magazine. During this process, we focus on thinking about what we can add, change or improve in order to convey the content of our colleagues who shared their articles for our magazine to our readers in a plain and understandable language as much as possible. As a result of all these efforts, we submit our magazines to our readers.
I can say that we have so far received positive feedback from our customers. The content we present in our magazine attracts attention and curiosity, which motivates us even more to prepare new issues of the magazine. With the support of both our customers and other readers, we try hard to offer the best experience by constantly improving our content.

In addition to the works I mentioned while I was giving information about the Corporate Communications Department, we identify the issues where we have deficiencies in order to improve in-house communication and focus on the type of work we can do to better it. In order to realize this, we are attentive to receive feedback from each department in different ways at certain intervals.
