With the Message Management System (IYS – İleti Yönetim Sistemi) offered by the Ministry of Trade, unauthorized commercial electronic messages or unwanted messages can now be blocked. With this Message Management System, which is actually a national database system in which all service providers record up-to-date commercial electronic message approvals, consumers can perform approval or rejection procedures to receive this service. Thanks to the system, all transactions can be managed from a single point, and citizens can receive services from a specific service provider or brand according to their choices. Commercial electronic message permissions that the service providers will use for purposes such as advertising, marketing and campaigns are uploaded to and stored at IYS. In this way, the service providers can send messages to the consumers who have given their consent, but cannot send to those who do not want to receive any messages. With this system, it is also possible to reach a solution for complaints quickly.
